Oceanside Reflection

As a natural farmer, I aim to mimic & incorporate my environment. Despite the notoriously terrible native soil of south Florida, we live in the most beautiful place which offers all we need in order to improve the soil.

The life of a farmer isn’t typically one that would include trips to the beach, but I’m no typical farmer. Not only are my beach visits necessary work trips to harvest sea weed for my compost piles + sand for my worms (more on them later), but time at the shore is a reminder to sit down, slow down & breathe.

Yes, there are many things to do & they all feel important, but sitting in front of the ocean I remember this moment is all there is. The other things on my to do list may never get done & that’s ok. All that matters is now & in this moment sitting at the ocean’s edge; connected to Source, everything is perfect.

Happy New Year!
