Welcome the New Crew

After much deliberation & planning, I’m pleased to announce our first team expansion. More than 2,000 Red Wiggler & Indian Blue earthworms now make up what I’m calling “The Crew.”

These hard working guys (my choice label, though earthworms are actually hermaphrodites) are excited to come aboard & are happy to spend their days tirelessly munching their way through mounds of organic material which otherwise would have gone to the landfill. In about 60 days, they will have at least doubled their population😳.

We’ve leveled up🙌🏾! In a few short months we’ll be able to generously spread their castings (worm excrement) all over our beds. The plants are sure to appreciate the nutritional boost to the native soil + improved water retention. All that from feeding worms “trash!”

The last 8 months of turning a lawn into a regenerative farm have been quite a journey along a VERY steep learning curve, but I thank God (& my Granddad😉) for my ability to recognize opportunity where others see obstacles.
