Just as I was becoming fully convinced the only role of lovebugs was to annoy the hell out of me😖, I caught them doing something useful: pollinating! I’ve found myself more tolerant of them since this discovery😝

Early this Summer was the worst I’ve seen them in YEARS😣 They’re better/almost gone now👌🏾

😄I googled it after my observation. They are known pollinators. Their larvae are also decomposers of organic matter that feed the soil. Who knew🤷🏾♀️?!
